The search for the missing costume...

Nah, if you thought am writing about some mysterious situation around me. Even worse if you thought I am writing a short shorty or reminiscing about famous five or secret seven mysteries. This is an unadulterated “ Ah” moment that got me opening my blog. For over the last 2 weeks those on my social media or in my inner circle  would have seen me ask for random things like a long white dress/white shoes/hair brooches/veil and the like. While my wiser daughter warned me about these hassles and avoided participation, I gave a long lecture on how being a part of school events is integral part of growing up. Sometimes its wiser to just keep quiet. The whole thing backfired on me, and each evening was spent in hunting some part of this costume. It is deceptively simple and you must be thinking oh! all this is so easy to source. Try me, please! You can never go to one shop and assume there will be stock. I am Bored

How many of you have heard this line from your kids at regular intervals when you are travelling or when you are on a long car drive? We would have hardly completed one item on our agenda when the question will be " what next"? or " I am bored" or  "Can we go back to the room". While this seems slightly exaggerated and not exactly true at all times, the general trend is that kids do get bored easily than ever before. Sometimes this can also happen when they are probably watching something and you may see them multitasking while doing that. While the easiest answer to this is " let them be bored" and it is not our duty to entertain, this may not be the best approach always as we still haven't got to the root cause of the problem.
